Training Session: Value Stream Mapping is a tool used by Lean Enterprises to see the value in the organization, identify waste, and put in place a plan to minimize or eliminate it. This training session based on the book ‘Learning to See’ and developed by the Lean Enterprise Institute, walks participants through the Value Stream Mapping tool and the application of Lean Principles using a simple case Study. 

Prerequisite: Principles of Lean Manufacturing

Implementation: A Value Stream Mapping Implementation includes the training as identified above and the application of the tool to a specific product family. The creation of the current and future state maps provides the roadmap for a Lean Implementation.
