This 160 hour course of instruction stretches over 4 months. Traditionally Black Belt training is one week per month for each month. Our small business clients told us that scheduling and production demands put this out of their reach. We have redesigned the delivery format to one day per week for 20 weeks. Beyond that change what you find is a traditional black belt program. All the tools and processes that a Green Belt team leader learns are included plus some more sophisticated tools like design of experiment. Trainees will learn to use the internationally recognized statistical software tool “Mini-tab and the analytical tools that it can bring to the measure and analyze phase of the methodology. We are training project managers capable of directing the work of multiple Greenbelt teams. These are the people who do the higher level analysis and guide the teams and team leaders to insure their success and that they stay focused. Black Belts and Master Black Belts work with senior management to identify issues and problems and facilitate the activities of multiple green belt teams to resolve them. Greenbelt training is not a prerequisite but a thorough grounding in TQM principles and tools and strong analytical skills are.
