Training Session: 5S is a Methodology to Obtain and Sustain an organized workplace. This training session walks participants through the 5S’ (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) and how to apply them to the workplace. Included in this training is a factory simulation in which the 5S’ are systematically applied and metrics are obtained to measure improvement. Participants are also given tools to help apply the 5S’ and numerous industry examples.

Kaizen Event: A 5S Kaizen event includes the classroom training as identified above without the simulation and the application of the 5S’ to an identified area within the facility.
