Offering Description: Participants will learn how to link and balance machine and manual operations to achieve smooth and steady process flow in order to meet customer demand. In addition, they will discover how to group process families, as well as learn about ‘takt time’ (the production pace that matches customer demand).

The Cellular/Flow course helps participants understand the methodology and tools needed to design a cell or process flow using linked processes to meet ‘takt time.’ A simple simulation is included to demonstrate the benefit of Cellular Design.

Who Should Attend: All levels of organization from many types of businesses would benefit from this process. These include healthcare executives, department managers, human resource administrators, practice managers, office managers, supervisors and Allied Health employees.
