In 1994, DEMEP was established with a mandate to provide and transfer Lean Best Practices and Quality Systems Training to the manufacturing community. Since then, DEMEP programs and practices have increased the quality levels, productivity levels and profitability of the many companies it has served in Delaware.

And now, methodologies initially applied in the Manufacturing setting have been expanded to support Healthcare and Service & Government entities. DEMEP now offers both Lean and Quality Systems Training and in-house implementations to the healthcare and government communities. This expansion allows the established and proven Lean skills to be implemented throughout the state, thus enabling even more organizations the ability to enhance their processes and profitability.
